TelTel Named "Top 50 Vendor" for Service Providers
- Awarded recognition for enabling service providers to provide IP telephony without building own infrastructure -
SANTA CLARA, CA - October 20, 2005
- TelTel, a provider of SIP-based global Internet telephony with presence-enabled
features, today announced that it has been named to the 2005 "Top 50 Vendors" list
from Service Provider Weekly, the U.S.'s only and largest circulation weekly for the
Service Provider market. The list was published in the October 17th issue recognizing
industry innovators that equip service providers to optimize operations and generate
new revenues via differentiated services.
TelTel made the "Top 50 Vendors" list based on its SIP-based global Internet telephony for both
consumers and service providers. TelTel recently launched the TelTel SIP Virtual Network Operators
(SVNO) Program, enabling ISPs, ITSPs, CLECs, carriers and other service and content providers to
offer SIP-based telephony and multimedia services without having to build their own SIP infrastructure.
Service providers are able to leverage TelTel's network backbone and turnkey solution. In addition to
these benefits, partnered service providers have the option of offering customers co-branded and remote
configurable SIP equipment such as IP phones, ATA and videophones.
"TelTel is honored to be recognized as a key innovator in the service provider industry," said
Jack Chang, Chief Operating Officer of TelTel. "We are strongly positioned to continue giving both
established and aspiring service providers the ability to provide customizable and ready-to-go
Internet Telephony."
