How do I build a TelTel Group?

To build a TelTel Group, you must purchase the Business Premium Package at the TelTel Store. The person who pays for the package will become the Admin of the group. When purchasing this option, you will be prompted to select the size of the package, decide on your TelTel Group account, provide an unique email address, and determine the duration of your subscription. At the end of the purchase process, your TelTel Group will be ready. After the number has been set up, you will receive an email.

How do I add members to my TelTel Group?

To add members, go to: My TelTel -> My Groups -> Select Group -> Members. Click on the "Add" button and enter the person's TelTel account. The system will search for this person, and when found, will automatically add him/her to your TelTel Group. If the person is not yet a TelTel user, please ask him/her to download a TelTel client and sign up for a TelTel account.

How do I access the group voice attendant?

The TelTel Group account created by the Admin is the number that members and other people call from their TelTel Softphone. To reach the group voice attendant, simply enter the TelTel Group account into the interactive monitor and click on "Dial to be Connected with the Group." If the group has purchased global access numbers (local numbers of different cities in the world), then you can also call the number from any regular phone, or TelTel Softphone, to access the group voice attendant.

How do I record prompts in my group voice attendant?

TelTel has already provided some helpful prompts. In order to record your own customized messages, go to: My Groups -> Select Group -> Settings -> Management Code. Set the management code. Call the group voice attendant, enter the management code, and follow the instructions for recording your message. Should you require more assistance, please contact our sales department directly.

How does the Admin set up the extension numbers, management codes, conference rooms, etc.?

All the management you need to do can be accomplished in the different menus under My TelTel -> My Groups -> Select Group. As the Admin, you have the authority to override and control some functional settings of your group. All the editable items will be displayed for you, and the rest hidden to protect member privacy. How does the member set up extension call settings, voicemail, etc.?

You can accomplish everything you need to do using different menus under My TelTel -> My Groups -> Select Group. As a member, you have limited access to the information and options provided. You’ll see your own personal settings, which will also be visible to your Admin.

How do I purchase TelTel credits or optional add-ons?

Only the Admin of the group can purchase TelTel credits and optional add-ons from the TelTel Store.

How do I upgrade, extend, or re-activate the package?

Only the Admin can exercise these options. Package upgrades and extensions are available in the TelTel Store. Re-activation is available under My TelTel -> My Groups -> Select Group. Expired group information will be kept on the system for a period of time subject to TelTel's discretion.

How do I downgrade the package subscription?

The Admin should contact our sales department directly. If the package subscription is still valid when the request is made, unused months will be refunded back to the group's credit pool.

What happens to group credits when the subscription has ended and is not re-activated?

The group credits will be returned to the Admin's personal TelTel credits balance account.

What is the cancellation and refund policy for TelTel Group package and add-on purchases?

TelTel Group packages and add-on purchases can be cancelled during the subscription period. Please contact our sales department for assistance. However, please note that we only provide refunds in TelTel credits. If you believe a purchase charge was made in error, please contact PayPal's dispute department. For more details regarding our refund policy, please read our end user license agreement.
