Business Development Manager


Location: US

Responsibilities:
  • High visibility hands-on position responsible for partner program development and business development with service providers, equipment manufacturers and partners in the territory of the United States.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the Voice-over-IP industry and be self directed and self motivated in execution.
  • Must be result oriented and have proven track records in a start-up environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development with successful track record in negotiating and closing partnership agreements that generates results.
Customer Service Engineer


Location: Taipei, Beijing

Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-line support for our customers and partners.
  • Open, follow up, and close trouble tickets.
  • Act as first line interface with partners and customers, act as liaison between customers/partners and operation engineers.
  • Conduct customer callbacks.
  • Complete initial troubleshooting steps for various symptom of user's issue.
  • Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT) and user training.
Requirements:
  • Some previous customer service experience, preferably in the area of Telecom and Internet service provider.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical capability in understand and solve problem.
  • Familiar with MS Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends/evenings.
  • Knowledgeable in customer billing practices.
  • Familiar with Internet technologies and applications.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese in both writing and speaking.
Customer Service Manager/Director


Location: Taipei, Beijing

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the activities of the staff to ensure that all service level and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Identify and maintain customer service best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage complex customer issues with a sense of urgency, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Review daily reports and take appropriate action, as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop, implement and manage customer satisfaction programs to ensure we provide TelTel customers world class service.
  • Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT) and user training.
Requirements:
  • Strong background with 8 years of experience with 4+ years of management responsibilities in a well-established customer service environment.
  • Solid understanding of customer service concept and structure.
  • Experience in developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunication industry in the area of customer billing practice and customer dispute handling.
  • Working knowledge of Internet protocol and VoIP general technology and issues.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven ability for creative problem solving.
  • Highly organized with attention to details.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the entire team to meet company objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese both written and verbal with strong leadership skill.
Operation Manager/Director


Location: Taipei

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day operation to ensure maximum service availability and quality for TelTel infrastructure, system, and services.
  • Monitor and analyze operation issue to ensure problems are identified and solved as rapidly and efficiently.
  • Develop and document operating procedures to support the day to day operations.
  • Assess requirements, alternatives, and risks/benefits for various operation projects.
  • Recommends and identifies opportunities and solutions to improve service efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Is available for after hour, on-call activities as needed.
  • Engage in daily operation tasks with extensive hand on work.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum 8 years experience in related IT related field.
  • At least 3 years of project and people management experience in managing large systems infrastructure with Internet related service or operation.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related application protocols.
  • Extensive experience with Linux environment with strong hands-on administrator ability in either networking or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Operations environments with understanding of existing voice and data communication technology.
  • Working knowledge of modern telecom and IP transport services and capabilities.
  • VoIP experience with knowledge with SIP protocol is a big plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Sr. Systems Engineer


Location: Taipei

  • Help to develop tools to manage and monitor the system.
  • Develop and document operating procedures to support the day to day operations.
  • Recommends and identifies opportunities and solutions to improve service efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Is available for after hour, on-call activities as needed.
  • Engage in daily operation tasks with extensive hand on work.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a 4+ years experience in related IT related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Internet networking and related application protocols.
  • Extensive experience with Linux environment.
  • Strong hands-on skill in both networking and system administration.
  • VoIP experience with knowledge with SIP protocol is a big plus.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English languages in reading and writing.
Sr. Software Engineer - Web Application


Location: Taipei

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop business and operation support system for TelTel service.
  • Work with operation team closely to deliver new services and features.
  • Serve as a project lead or individual contributor depending on project assignment.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Experience in developing web based application using Java.
  • Expert level knowledge with HTTP, HTML, and XML.
  • Good understanding of J2EE system architecture, web services and other distributed technologies.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Database system like Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
  • Basic knowledge of JSP / Struts or similar dynamic web page delivery system.
  • Experience with PHP development is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with JBOSS is a plus.
  • Prior exposure with telecom or Internet based business and operation support system is a big plus.
  • High degree of self-motivation and flexibility with ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability and willingness to proactively interact to achieve results in a dynamic environment.
